Discover the mysterious and fascinating sunfish, also known as mola mola or sun fish.
This bony fish fascinates divers all over the world! Indeed, with its disc shape, it is one of the heaviest of its kind, with a weight of up to 2 tons and a wingspan of 3 to 4 metres!
Mola mola are found in all temperate tropical waters of the world at great depths (500m).
Rather poor swimmers, they let themselves be carried by the currents and in Bali, during the seasonal currents from July to November, they take advantage of this to come to the surface at about 35 metres for the "Bali spa": reef fish rid the mola mola of their skin parasites.
Often seen alone or in small groups of 2/3, harmless and curious, the encounter with a mola mola is a special moment... Come and try the experience with us!
