Although scuba diving is one of the least dangerous activities, it is advisable to come with a medical certificate and to follow the recommendations of the dive guides.
It has been proven that diving is no more dangerous than swimming. With our experienced instructors, the risk of accidents is minimal.

The answer is no, although we may feel some discomfort that can be avoided with various techniques. When we dive, our bodies experience pressure due to the weight of the water. This pressure is primarily felt in the ears. The sensation is similar to what we might feel when hiking in the mountains or during taking off/landing in an airplane, for example, when traveling to Bali. 😉
Before any discomfort arises, it's essential to practice the equalization maneuver. The simplest method involves pinching your nose and gently blowing with your mouth closed, as if we were blowing your nose or swallowing. By doing this, we perform the Valsalva maneuver. Its purpose is to force the opening of the Eustachian tube to allow air into the ear and restore pressure balance on each side of the eardrum.💦
This maneuver should be performed as often as necessary, throughout the descent and during the dive, every time you descend a little deeper.
