Vaccination against COVID-19 and the reopening of Bali

We are very pleased with the decision announced by President Joko Widodo to open Bali in July this year.

For the past year, the tourism sector, which caters specifically to international tourists, has been closed due to restrictions on the entry of foreign travellers

The reopening of Bali is expected to begin in July 2021 with pilot tests in three Green Zone destinations - Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua. The vaccination campaign is being accelerated in the green zones to ensure the safety and comfort of tourists arriving in Bali.

Vaccination programmes against COVID-19 have been conducted simultaneously in the three green zones of Bali, since Monday 22 March 2021, with the vaccines provided by the central government.

The central government has supported the provision of vaccines in accordance with the requirement of 170,487 doses, spread over three areas. At least 47,045 doses have been administered to the Ubud region, 87,715 to Nusa Dua and 35,727 doses to the Sanur region.

Our dive centre was able to benefit from the Astra-Zeneca vaccine being in the tourism sector for us and our staff. We will be delighted to welcome you to Bali for your next stay and postpone your trip planned in 2020 for the coming months.

Bali will be open for foreign tourists who have already been vaccinated.

Until we see you again, be well and protect yourself.
