What is the best season to visit Bali?

You're probably asking yourself two questions: the first one is about the weather, and the second one concerns the number of tourists. You've probably heard that the rainy season is not ideal for visiting Bali, as it rains almost every night and even during the day, right? It's true, it can rain heavily with high humidity, and you might feel a sense of stuffiness. However, whether it rains or not, it will always be warm in Bali, meaning you can still venture outside. Plus, you can easily purchase cheap rain gear like a K-way or waterproof pants and a jacket.

Nevertheless, the rainy season has its advantages. It's the perfect time to admire beautiful waterfalls and discover quieter places since Bali is less crowded with tourists during this period. Additionally, the nature is more lush, providing a great opportunity to enjoy the wonders of Bali without the tourist crowds.

According to the weather, the best time to visit Bali would be during the dry season, from May to September, when the weather is mostly dry. However, the tourist influx is very high during this period, which can result in higher prices and large crowds at tourist spots.

It's also easier to meet people during this time due to school holidays and the numerous festivals held in Bali.

To determine the best season to visit Bali, it will entirely depend on your availability and preferences, whether you're considering a short one-week trip or a longer stay.
